From November 15th 2014 to January 15th 2015
This is the first exhibition of new work by Monaghan born, Dundrum based painter Sheila McCarron in two years. One of Ireland’s finest, most individualistic artists, Sheila’s latest body of work follows her muse from widescreen fantasy to immersive abstraction and visits all points in between. Sheila’s unique visual style - vivid, intricate and lush in equal measure draws inspiration from the past and present, the real and imagined, beauty and pain. These qualities make her work much sought after by collectors around the globe, many of whom have described the ways in which a Sheila McCarron speaks to them in the moment, evoking a profound connection. This latest work presents Sheila’s vision unfiltered and we are delighted to welcome her back to the Mill Theatre.
The gallery is open from 12.30pm-5.30pm Monday-Saturday and open late when there is a performance in the theatre (which is most nights).
