MASKS by DAVID CROWLEY

Paintings and Prints.

“...wearing the face / That she keeps in a jar by the door.” Everyday, everyone of us could pass by hundreds of people, each of us wearing a mask of some kind. Masks that hide our true feelings and intentions. Each wearer has their own reasons why they choose their own masks to wear, but they cannot control how those masks are interpreted by others. Often, they will never know because those others also wear masks of their own. Masks that we wear everyday. Masks that we wear because we want to, and masks that we wear because we have to.

David Crowley is a graphic designer and illustrator based in Cork.
