Waterbirth – a Work-in-Progress sharing
Waterbirth is a new play by Roseanne Lynch, exploring pregnancy, climate grief and the transition into motherhood.
This work-in-progress sharing will take the form of an open workshop – offering glimpse, not only of extracts from the play’s text, music and movement, but also of the creative process. It will be relaxed and informal, with a chance for our audience to respond, ask questions and offer feedback on what they have seen, facilitated by dlr Mill Theatre Artist in Residence, Lesley Conroy.
Afterwards, there will be a Creative Workshop, where the audience are invited to explore their own creative responses to the themes of the play.
Director: Lianne O’Shea/ Composer: Richard Lennon/ Actors: Gabrielle Moleta and Roseanne Lynch/ Dramaturgical Support: Pamela McQueen
This work-in-progress is made possible by a grant from Dún Laoghaire-Rathdown Arts Office and generous support from the dlr Mill Theatre
