One-two, One-two
Performing in our Maureen O’Hara Studio, the dlr Mill Youth Theatre Group presents One-two, One-two. A series of monologues and dialogues (one or two person pieces, hence the title One-two, One-two) written and performed by members of our group, along with dialogues and monologues taken from films, plays and even popular tv shows.
Our collective goal for the project was to get in touch with and immerse ourselves into the craft of performing through delving into projects which have made us laugh, cry and inspired us to become actors, playwrights or even screenwriters ourselves.
Audiences should expect a multidisciplinary journey where scenes from contemporary films like Freaky Friday, Mean Girls, the Banshees of Inisherin are intertwined with classic plays like Hamlet, Cabaret and surrealistic scenes written by aspiring new playwrights in our group.
We can’t wait to share our work with audiences on the 26th and 27th of November!
