Souvenirs performed by Claire et Antho
dlr Mill Theatre proudly presents in Association with the French Embassy in Ireland
We are thrilled to announce that the internationally acclaimed French dance duo, Claire et Antho, will be joining us in 2027 in their acclaimed production “Souvenirs”. Their residency and performances will serve as the centrepiece of our celebrations for International Dance Day.
This celebrated French performance duo blends dance, shadow play, and visual illusion to tell deeply human stories. Their work poignantly portrays the quiet struggles of mental health: anxiety, self-doubt, emotional weight, and the “shadows” we often hide. It shows the power of connection, vulnerability, and healing. Through striking imagery, they reveal that darkness and light coexist, and that facing our inner battles together brings strength and hope.
Beautiful, moving, and universally relatable, their production turns silent emotion into something seen, felt, and understood.
From our Artistic Director, Michelle King:
“Bringing artists of this calibre to our stage highlights our commitment to dance as a vital art form. For our community in Dundrum and across the locality, dance is more than just movement; it’s a language we all understand, a shared art form and expression of how we feel without even saying a word. By hosting Claire et Anthon and their production of Souvenirs, we aim to inspire our local audience and welcome visitors from beyond to experience the power of contemporary choreography as well as expanding our audience to wider communities. We are excited and grateful to be working with the French Embassy in Ireland”.
