Craic Dealers Comedy Club is kicking off our monthly comedy club in style with another massive night of craic in the majestic studio of dlr Mill Theatre!

Keego is bald, beautiful and delusional. He will be your guide on the night. Asking you questions like, what is the Irish Kama Sutra? Why is Usain Bolt applauded when he finishes in 9.58 seconds but Keego is not? And why is it called bottomless brunch when they force you to wear trousers??

The show is headlined by (as demanded by our beautiful audience) the comedy Icon that is Edwin Sammon! People still can’t believe that he and Keego aren’t related. Edwin Sammon is a dynamic comedian and actor known for his unique blend of humor and storytelling. With an infectious energy and razor-sharp wit, Edwin has entertained audiences across the globe, leaving a lasting impression wherever he performs.

Hailing from Dublin, Ireland, Edwin’s comedic journey began on the vibrant stand-up circuit, where he quickly established himself as a rising star. His observational humour, combined with his uncanny ability to find hilarity in the mundane aspects of everyday life, has earned him widespread acclaim and a dedicated fan base.

In addition to his success as a stand-up comedian, Edwin is also a talented actor, with notable appearances in film, television, and theater. His versatility and comedic timing have earned him roles in popular TV shows such as “Bridget & Eamon” and “Republic of Telly,” as well as in acclaimed theater productions.

As a speaker, Edwin brings his unique perspective and infectious enthusiasm to the stage, captivating audiences with his hilarious anecdotes and insightful observations. Whether sharing tales from his own life or offering humorous takes on current events, he never fails to leave audiences laughing and inspired.

They are joined by Claire Roche.  In 2022 Claire Roche stood up one day in her kitchen and said to her husband and three little children – “That’s it. I need to be on stage again, make your own dinners” and drove straight into Dublin City to her first open mic show. She has been on a roll since then on the shelf-like stages of the Irish Comedy scene.

Highlights include performing at The Mermaid Theatre in Bray in 2024 along side Eric Lawlor and Hot Water Club in Liverpool. Claire Roche is a regular at all the usual comedy clubs in Dublin city, In Stitches, Hysteria, Hardy Har at the Harbour Bar Bray, Wicklow Pride Festival, and a regular face in the Wexford and Kilkenny comedy scene. Claire also performed on the main stage at the first Irish  FUNNY WOMEN event in Whelans to an audience of 180.

Fast-talking observational comedy with lots of movement on stage!  Listen up or you’ll miss out.  Alex J Byrne is back! Alex J. Byrne is an incredibly unique and engaging comic with his hilarious blend of magic tricks and clean cut comedy, having cut his teeth on the comedy circuit as well as many comedy festivals such as: the Edinburgh Fringe Festival, Dublin International Comedy Film Festival and Glasgow Comedy Festival among many others. He’s toured, performed and headlined around the world with his fun filled onstage persona that inevitably spills off stage! If Tommy Cooper and Brendan Grace had a baby, than this bearded magic Jackeen would be it!

Making his Craic Dealers Debut is Conor O’Brien. Conor is a podcast, comedian, a peacemaker and a heartbreaker.

Our special guest has performed on every stage in Ireland, on every stage in the UK and is bringing the full dose to The dlr Mill, we also welcome Amy Cassidy to Craic Dealers Comedy Club!
