Culture Night / Oíche Chultúir is brought to you by the Arts Council; it is a national moment, celebrating culture, creativity and the arts and seeks to actively promote the belief that this rich and varied culture is alive, treasured and nurtured in people’s lives, today and every day.

As part of Culture Night 2023 in our Maureen O’Hara Studio, Mothers Artists Makers present an informal evening of entertainment. With a variety of performances from Theatre, Music, Comedy, Spoken Word and More it promises to be a fantastic night out that will leave you inspired and entertained.

Mothers Artists Makers (MAM) are a movement of professional, feminist theatre and arts practitioners who are mothers.

MAM meet weekly to create, campaign, discuss and support each other in being parenting arts practitioners. We promote and campaign for family friendly arts practice and at all MAM events, children of all ages and energy are always welcome. Since its birth in March 2016, MAM has taken to the stage at the ‘All Ireland Performing Arts Conference 2016’ in Galway, performed ‘Observe the Mothers of Theatre Marching Towards the Stage’ at the Abbey Theatre, presented our vision at Waking the Feminists’ #OneMoreThing event in November 2016 and devised and led a series of family friendly workshops in our ‘Playground’ initiative.

As always children of all ages and energy are welcome at MAM events, however this event may contain adult themes.
