Sister Act

Following on from their sell out run of Anything Goes last year, the members of Kilmacud Musical Society are delighted to be back in dlr Mill Theatre this April with SISTER ACT.

Sister Act is a musical that follows the story of Deloris Van Cartier, an aspiring singer in Philadelphia, whose careers aspirations take a turn for the worst when she accidentally witnesses a murder. With the murderers on the hunt for Doloris, she is placed under protective custody in the most surprising of places– a convent!

Hilarity ensues as the larger-than-life diva tries to hide her light beneath a habit under the constant, watchful eye of the convent’s Mother Superior. While at the convent, Deloris takes the struggling nun’s choir under her wing and shows them the true power of music.
