About the Performance 

Leinster String Quartet returns to dlr Mill Theatre with a very special evening, joined by the wonderful Alison Dennan. Together they perform a hand-picked selection of your most cherished Disney favourites, from beloved classics to modern favourites, all brought to life with the rich, beautiful sound of strings. 

This is the perfect way to begin your mid-term break: a magical evening of music suitable for all ages, ideal for sharing with family and friends, or simply enjoying a moment of beauty and wonder.  

About Alison Dennan

Alison is a Dublin-based singer and actor with a particular love for musical theatre, live music and storytelling. A graduate of the Gaiety School of Acting, she holds a Masters in Theatre Practice from UCD/GSA and has worked extensively across stage and screen, performing in many of Ireland’s leading venues including the 3Olympia Theatre, Gaiety Theatre, National Concert Hall, INEC, Wexford Opera House and dlr Mill Theatre. 

 With a background in primary education, Alison has a particular passion for children’s theatre and for creating imaginative, engaging experiences for young audiences. She also works as a musical theatre tutor and drama facilitator for the Gaiety School of Acting and founded the company Creative Starts to deliver creative arts based workshops and classes to primary school children. 

 She is delighted to be returning to the DLR Mill Theatre having recently played the role of ‘Fiona the Fairytale Fairy’ in ‘The Chocolate Shop Has Lost It’s Hop’. Other theatre credits include Elphie and Elsie in the 3Olympia Theatre pantomimes, Cinderella (Wexford Opera Theatre/INEC), Tír na Nóg (Smock Alley), RTÉ Jr’s ‘Once Upon a Christmas’, Chromatics– An Irish Musical (DLR Mill Theatre) and Aspects of Andrew Llyod Webber (NCH).
