Neil O’Shea has presented programmes including ‘Late Date’ and ‘Risin’ Time’ on RTE Radio One.
His one person show, ‘An Evening with Great Irish Writers’ is a performance of extracts from the works of Irish writers such as Jonathan Swift, Oscar Wilde, W B Yeats, George Bernard Shaw, James Joyce and others. This show is a celebration of these writers, full of familiar characters mixed in with less familiar extracts . The show is full of humour while also giving pause for thought.
Neil has presented this performance worldwide, including in the USA in 15 different cities over 18 days. He has also performed in numerous US Colleges while doing residencies as visiting artist and has brought his show to the UK, Germany and in various venues around Ireland.
