It’s Always the Quiet Ones

On a stormy night, in a cliff-top coastal cottage, a frazzled couple prepare for the long anticipated arrival of a stranger – one who will change their lives forever. But the storm outside is nothing compared to the one about to erupt within.

Performed in the Maureen O’Hara Studio, It’s Always the Quiet Ones is a quick fire tragicomedy of manners. Rooted in the rich tradition of Tales of the Unexpected, and echoing the unsettling edge of Black Mirror, the play deftly unravels the subtle tensions of social interaction with biting wit and unnerving precision. Questions of morality arise as the plot races towards its dramatic conclusion.

A dark comedy with a shocking twist that will stay with you long after you have seen it.
