Dublin Animation Film Festival 2025

DAFF 2025 is delighted to be partnering with the National Talent Academies, in creating a 2 Day animation festival that will showcase the rising stars of the Irish and international animation industries!

DAY ONE – 7 November 2025 from 10am

This year’s exciting programme features a day of industry events including a special screening of ‘Flow’ followed by a Q & A, with the producer Matīss Kaža, and a presentation will be made to Joanna Quinn, who will be promoting her new book “Beryl” based on her beloved animation character.  Programme can be found here:

DAY TWO – 8 November 2025 from 11.30am

The DAFF 2025 screenings of the official selection of short films for this year’s DAFF awards will be followed by a ballot for the Audience Choice Award. The closing event of the night is the presentation of the DAFF 2025 awards including the Best Irish Short Film, the Best Irish Student Short Film and the new category – Best Stop Motion Film Award.  Programme can be found here
